Meg Eplett and Amy Hintz are friends first and colleagues second. They first met working together at Rockets of Awesome, and have since launched Pen Pal Studio.

In September 2019, after a stressful day of running around for work, Amy asked Meg “If you could do a creative project for yourself, what would it be?” Meg had a laundry list of such projects, but on this particular day she told Amy about an idea of doing scavenger hunts for kids. She had done one to entertain her niece on vacation and it was a big hit. Amy was into the idea and said “let’s make it happen!”

At this point, one of them said — and we can’t remember who — “let’s call it ‘Finding Stuff Club'.”

Well, work stayed busy, and time was always in short supply. But then COVID-19 happened. Suddenly Meg and Amy had A LOT of time. Not only did they have time, they discovered they had a real passion for finding and making stuff for parents and kids. For years, they had been in the business of selling something, and now they had the opportunity to give something back, and engage with their community in a meaningful way. 

They love doing Finding Stuff Club and hope you enjoy it, too.
